What are the best ways to lose weight(1) Food is one of the basic necessities of humans and it is important as it nourished the human body. However, many people use food as a coping mechanism to deal with such feelings as stress, boredom or anxiety, or even to prolong feelings of joy. Not only what we eat affects how we feel, our mind affects our eating behavior a lot. Eating to soothe and ease your feelings may help you feel better in the short term but it can lead to regret and guilt, and can even increase the negative feelings eventually. If you consider to lose weight, you need to understand your thinking and mind first that could be a huge role in your unhealthy eating patterns and behavior.

What are the best ways to lose weight?

I struggled with weight gain ever since I gave birth to my first child. After my daughter was born, I was so overwhelmed with taking care of her that I did not have the opportunity to take care of myself. On top of that because she was my first child, I was constantly worried about how I could support her to make sure she has a bright future and great life.

What are the best ways to lose weight(2) Thinking back and reflecting I was able to realize that I was busy with my mind about greed , and attachment to my daughter.

Those thoughts gave me so much stress that I started to binge eat every time to try and escape my thoughts. I gained about 30 pounds after giving birth, but could not stop binge eating due to all my thoughts and stress. I became so depressed that my body weight and image had gone to the point that it did but no matter what I did I still could not stop over eating. I was not happy at all, and I lost all my self esteem. That is when i found this meditation.

After starting this meditation, I learned that all those thoughts are just the human mind which can be eliminated and then I could be free from those unnecessary thoughts. I diligently discarded my human mind because those minds made me feel burdened, stressed, and depressed. To the point where I could not control my eating habits. After discarding my mind, I was able to confirm that those mind do not exist within me, so I felt so light and truly happy that I found the way to overcome my hardships. Not only was I able to control my eating habits, I also was able to lose my weight because I was no longer attached to the negative thoughts. I also gained my self confidence back. After throwing away those negative thoughts, I do not get stuck in my mind anymore and I always have a positive attitude. I realized that I do not need to worry about my kids’ life or future. I now see that I do not need to eat unnecessary food. I am the healthiest and happiest I have ever been. Check out the video below for how I overcame my weight!
