Like a lot of people, I got overwhelmed by strong feelings of guilt and shame if I made a mistake or said something people didn’t like. These feelings made my life very difficult, and I often found myself living a life where I tried to ‘make up’ for the disappointment I believed that I had caused others.

First, I want to say that worries are not bad. Worries and troubles are an opportunity for us to grow, because they make us desperate to seek for a change within. However, later I came to realize that my problem was that I didn’t understand the underlying mechanisms of a worrying mind.

The way I had dealt with anxiety up was to label my negative feelings as “wrong” and do everything in my power to push them away or to “not” feel them; however, this only made the negative feelings become even stronger.
What are the benefits of writing in a journal or diary?
I have no desire to hold on to the passing time. However, the most attractive thing about writing journal is that I can look back on myself and become a better me. I still continue to keep writing diary at least a little bit every day.

Food is one of the basic necessities of humans and it is important as it nourished the human body. However, many people use food as a coping mechanism to deal with such feelings as stress, boredom or anxiety, or even to prolong feelings of joy.
